Mrs. Clausen and Mrs. Madden's Pre-Kindergarten


Welcome to Our Lady Of Lourdes Pre-Kindergarten.  The first day of school will be on Friday, September 7th. The class will meet on Monday through Friday from 8:15 AM -1:15/2:30 PM.

  • Thursday, September 6th Play Date (postcard with details in August)
  • Friday, September 7th 8:15 AM-11: 30 AM
  • Week of September 10th Regular schedule 8:15 AM-1:15/2:30 PM


Please provide the following for your child on the first day of school.

  1. A plastic zip-lock bag containing a change of clothes (shirt, pants, underwear and socks). Please write your child’s name on the bag.
  2. A FULL-SIZE backpack with your child’s name written on the inside.
  3. A lunch box or sack to carry your child’s snack.  Please write your child’s name on the lunch box.
  4. A separate brown bag with a small healthy snack with their name clearly written on it. 
  5. Please put your child’s name on all sweaters and or jackets he/she will wear to school.

Please remember we follow the school calendar.
We are a PEANUT FREE classroom.
Please call the school (516) 599-7328 if your child is ill or you will be late picking up.  A written note explaining the child’s absence is needed on your child’s return.

Pre Kindergarten  Supply List

8 LARGE glue sticks (Elmer’s) 
1 set of watercolors
1 Elmer’s glue (white school)

1 pack thin Crayola makers (basic colors)
1 set of watercolors
1 Black sharpie marker
1 black & white marble notebook
1 plastic red pocket folder
1 plastic blue pocket folder
1 plain white dry erase board
Weekly reader fee $5.00 (in a envelope with child’s name)
Art Smock (tee shirt)
1 pack of dry erase markers (variety of colors)
A FULL sized backpack (no wheels please)
Name on ALL materials. 
Write your child’s name inside the backpack in black Sharpie
A COMPLETE change of clothes in a Ziploc bag with your child’s name. Please include socks, underpants, shirt, and pants.


Just some reminders:
1. Please write your child's NAME on everything. 
2.  Please bring a complete change of clothes in a plastic bag with your child's name on  it.
3. Please notify the school (516) 599-7328 if your child is ill or email me at bclausen5620 Please send a absence note when returning to class.
4. Pre K dismisses at 11:40 on Early Dismissal days. 
**Please remember  that classes are in session at dismissal time. The Pre-Kindergarten can not play in the schoolyard at that time. We appreciate your consideration and help in this matter.**
