- I was born and raised in Queens, NY
- I went to St Agnes Academic High School. I earned my Bachelors Degree from St. Johns University and my Masters Degree from Queens College.
- I have been teaching since 1989

I am so excited for a wonderful year in Kindergarten!
We will be studying:Phonics: We will be using Wilson's Fundations- Letter/sound correlation
- Short vowel sound
- Read CVC words
Reading (HMH Reading):- Learning what an author does
- Learning what an illustrator does
- Fiction/Non-fiction book
- 5 finger retell - setting, character, begining, middle, end
Math: Houghton-Mifflin "Into Math"- Number sense of writing 0-10
- Comparing 2 numbers
- Addition
Grammar / ELA:- Nouns, adjectives, verbs, pronouns, rhyming
Religion:We have a new Religion Series: Spirit of the Truth- Who is Jesus?
- Jesus loves us
- The early life of Jesus
- Jesus is our Savior
- Jesus loves the church
Social Studies:We will be using Social Studies Weekly
Science:We will be using a new Science Book called Inspire Science
